BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- The press center for the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held a group interview in Beijing on Tuesday.
International friends who made contributions to China's victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, or their family representatives, including Kobayashi Yokichi, son of Kobayashi Kiyoshi, a Japanese veteran of the Eighth Route Army, Jean-Louis Bussire, son of Dr. Jean Jerome Augustin Bussire, Nikolai Vladimirovich Chuikov, grandson of Marshal V.I.Chuikov of the Soviet Union, Jeffrey Greene, president of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, and Michael Crook, son of the British friends David Crook and Isabel Crook, shared their perspectives on the War, and took questions from journalists.
