Riyadh welcomes Virgin Atlantic Airways' first flight from Heathrow International Airport

RIYADH, 23rd April, 2025 (WAM) -- King Khalid International Airport today welcomed the inaugural flight of the British Virgin Atlantic Airways, arriving from Heathrow Airport in London. Onboard the Airbus A330neo aircraft was the company's founder, Sir Richard Branson.

The launch of this daily route aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the Kingdom's growing role as a leading global tourist destination. It also reflects the anticipated growth in air travel between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

Riyadh is witnessing rapid developments that are making it an attractive destination for investment and tourism.
