Next week's patch for Diablo II: Resurrected will be released on the Public Test Realm. It includes a Ladder system, as well as some tweaks to how the monstrous Uber Diablo behaves in the remake of one of the best RPGs ever created for PC.
Diablo II: Resurrected patch 2.4 was announced in January of this year, and it first appeared on the Public Test Realm (PTR) on January 25 before being removed by Blizzard on February 9. Currently, according to the most recent Diablo II blog post, cheap Diablo 2 resurrected ladder items the developer intends to re-release the pre-release patch to the test server with some new changes, including the first testing of Ladder functionality.
The company says it is now concentrating on "the areas where the feedback was overwhelmingly unanimous, as well as some of the areas where we may not have pushed hard enough for a meaningful change" in response to the results of the previous test. The most notable feature of this test is the inclusion of a ranked competitive Ladder system, as well as a variety of modes that support it. Each mode will have its own leaderboard, "where players compete to strategically gain experience within a limited timeframe," as described by the developers.
Additional changes include Uber Diablo, as well as the way in which progress toward spawning the monster is measured. The item can still be obtained through the sale of Stone of Jordan rings, but it is now tracked on a regional rather than a server basis. Progress towards Uber Diablo is tracked by game type, which includes several of the new Ladder modes, Cheap Diablo 2 Resurrected Items including Classic, Classic Hardcore (HC), Classic Ladder, Classic HC Ladder, Expansion, Expansion HC, Expansion Ladder, and Expansion HC Ladder, as well as Expansion HC Ladder and Expansion HC Ladder. According to Blizzard, "We hope that these changes will allow more players to experience the true terror that is Uber Diablo."
