Former World No. 1 Andy Murray will return to tennis in late June at an exhibition tournament organized by his brother Jamie, the Lawn Tennis Association announced.
Murray, 33, has been sidelined since the Davis Cup Finals in November due to complications from a hip injury.
A three-time Grand Slam winner, Murray tentatively had been planning a return to the ATP Tour in March before the coronavirus pandemic effectively shut down the majority of sports.
Now, Murray appears set to test his health in the London-based tournament that features fellow Brits Dan Evans and Kyle Edmund.
"We're excited to be hosting Jamie Murray's tournament 'Schroders Battle of the Brits' at the National Tennis Centre on June 23-28," the Lawn Tennis Association wrote on Twitter.
Murray won the US Open in 2012 and Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016. He also won Olympic gold medals in 2012 and 2016.
Overall, Murray has won 46 career singles titles, including nine in 2016 when he climbed to No. 1.
